SoloDB Documentation Version 1.0 Help

Finding information

Most SoloDB modules use the same list-and-detail pattern.

Lists and filters

Open a module's List page to search its records. Text search and fixed filters appear above the results. Entities with configurable properties—such as equipment, equipment modules, substrates, and consumables—can show additional property filters in a side column.

  • Combine filters to narrow the result set.

  • Selected filters are shown as badges; remove a badge to broaden the result.

  • Sorting and page size are stored with user preferences where supported.

  • Saved user filters can be restored from list pages that expose that feature.

  • Some lists offer table, card, or calendar rendering. Equipment supports all three when the relevant options are enabled.

Detail pages

Select a record to open its detail page. Tabs separate general information from related records such as users, files, reservations, status history, runs, or measurements. Tabs and action buttons are hidden when a module is disabled or you lack permission; their absence does not necessarily mean the underlying record has no data.

Exports and imports

Exports use the active selection or filter where the screen provides a selection control. Import workflows normally start by generating a workbook template, then uploading it for preview and validation before the final import. Create referenced records—such as rooms, types, or users—before generating the template so they appear as valid choices.
