Set up internal equipment logging

Internal logging imports values from a structured file or table and maps them to configured equipment logging parameters.

  1. Open the equipment Logging tab and create a logging definition.

  2. Choose the internal/file-based source supported by your installation.

  3. Add logging parameters with stable names and units.

  4. In the preview, map each result cell or column to a parameter. A mapping can use the incoming value, a fixed direct value, or an identifier value used to locate the correct record.

  5. Preview representative input and confirm data types, decimal separators, timestamps, and missing-value behaviour.

  6. Save the mapping and test it on non-production data before enabling routine processing.

Logging parameters can later be selected by run or monitored-process measurements, allowing imported values to become traceable results rather than unstructured attachments.
