Release notes SoloDB 5.14.5
SoloDB 5.14.5 has been released on 5 September 2026. This version includes the following fixes and improvements:
[FEAT] Added Google OAuth 2.0 as a login provider.
[FEAT] Added an API endpoint for listing all actions, with filters for status, creation date, and last-update date, as well as sorting and pagination options.
[FEAT] Added export support for facilities (utilities), including their properties, statuses, and preventive-maintenance schedules and records.
[FEAT] First and second service-event announcement emails can now be configured per service or inherited from its team, with configurable lead times and recipient groups.
[FEAT] Introduced beta support for hierarchical sub-locations, including a storage-layout designer. This feature is hidden behind a feature flag.
[FEAT] Locations can now be cloned, optionally including their complete sub-location hierarchy.
[FEAT] A top-level location can now be marked as storage equipment, providing access to equipment features such as statuses, services, and documents. This feature is also hidden behind the sub-location feature flag.
[FEAT] Users and permissions can now be managed at zone and zone-group level, allowing access to be limited more precisely by room, location, and equipment.
[FEAT] Run parts can now be moved to extra trays through the tray-position API, with extra trays created on demand.
[FEAT] The chemical-container creation API now supports setting an expiration date.
[FIX] External service-event imports now distinguish events by GUID, service, and planned date. Import results are sent to configured recipients, and incomplete source files are retained so they can be retried.
[IMPROVEMENT] Chemical-container filters now support CMRH and ZZS materials, and CMRH classifications are displayed with clearer badges.
[IMPROVEMENT] Chemical-container exports now include the email addresses of active users of each container.
[IMPROVEMENT] Service events can now be deleted even when a report exists; users are warned before the related report is removed.
[FIX] New service-event reservations for setup equipment are no longer incorrectly marked as tentative.
[FIX] Equipment statuses are displayed on the portal again.
[FIX] Equipment in a lab is sorted correctly again
[FIX] Custom sorting is now preserved when a search query is entered; relevance sorting is only applied when the default sort order is active.
[FIX] Equipment import errors are now reported clearly, and the import preview is retained so the import can be retried without uploading the file again.
[FIX] The News and Support menu no longer disappears for authorized users.
[DOCS] Added a Google OAuth 2.0 configuration guide and database entity-relationship diagrams for chemicals, equipment, rooms, and runs.
