Run variables

Variables are named run-level values that can be reused while preparing or displaying steps. Manage them from Other → Variables on the run.

Use variables for values that legitimately apply across several steps. Use step parameters for operation-specific settings, properties for master data, and measurement results for observed values. This distinction keeps exports and audits meaningful.
