Equipment logging
Equipment logging turns machine-produced data into structured SoloDB values. Logging definitions belong to equipment and map incoming content to logging parameters.
Internal logging
Internal logging reads a supported file or table. A mapping can take the value from a selected column or cell, supply a fixed value, or use an identifier to recognise the record or file layout. Preview the mapping with representative data before enabling routine use. See Set up internal logging.
External service logging
External logging calls a configured service and processing method. Method parameters build the request; result mappings select values from the response. See Logging services and Set up external logging.
Logging parameters can be linked to process parameters or units and selected by measurements in runs and monitored processes. Keep raw source files as attachments when audit requirements require both the original and parsed result.
