Measurements in runs

A measurement is a specialised step for recording structured results. It has a title, definition, method, part selection, optional label, result rows, and optional links to equipment logging parameters.

Insert a measurement while preparing the run, select the affected parts, and define what is being measured and how. During execution, enter or import results. Linking logging parameters allows values produced by configured equipment logging to populate the measurement context.

The Measurements tab expands results independently of the step list. Measurement summaries can combine selected runs for comparison and export. Use a requirement instead when a value must be evaluated against acceptance targets.
