Requirements in runs
A requirement is a specialised step that evaluates an outcome against one or more targets. It has a title, definition, method, selected parts, optional label, a linked measurement, and target definitions.
Insert the requirement during preparation and define the permitted target values or ranges. Link the step that supplies the result when the requirement depends on another operation. During execution, record the result for each applicable part; the Requirements tab shows the evaluation separately from the normal process sequence.
Use requirements for explicit acceptance criteria such as minimum thickness or a permitted resistance range. Use a checklist for yes/no procedural confirmation and a measurement when a result must be recorded without pass/fail logic.
