Reporting and data export

The Reporting module manages external storage and the visibility of generated datasets. A storage location records a name, purpose, container, folder, export file type, connection details, and optional OAuth service.

The export service can connect to Azure Blob Storage with a connection string or an OAuth access token. Databricks SQL access uses an OAuth service and a supported JDBC-style connection value. Storage views list matching export files and allow authorised downloads; synchronisation logs record entity-level export activity and errors.

Use a storage location with the Export to data lake purpose as the default export target. Keep credentials in host-specific secret configuration. Verify the container, folder, file type, and OAuth service before starting a full sync. See the export data model for table and column definitions.
