Release notes SoloDB 5.12.0
SoloDB 5.12.0 was released on 2 November 2025. This is mainly a bugfix release with some minor improvements.
Features
Teams can now have a "purpose" (current values are Run and Service). Teams can also be assigned to an environment so it is easier to find the right team for a specific task.
The environment filter is now also enabled in forms. When editing equipment in a certain environment, only options for that environment are shown (for the room and zone currently).
Run steps can be finished "on behalf of" another user. This can be useful for shared computers in the lab or cleanroom.
It is now also possible to upload files to a service event (for example, a measurement report).
The general messages in the status mail are correctly rendered in the email.
Service events can be finalised (and reopened).
First phase of setup code is done; setups can be created and edited via the system.
UI
Part labels are visible again in the operator dashboard.
All lists have been restyled with two separate filters: one horizontal for static filters and one vertical for dynamic filters. This leads to a better user experience.
In the operator board, when equipment is down, the row has a red shade. The down behavior of statuses can be controlled in the admin.
New option to filter runs which have no hold code.
Fixed
When "float" is selected as dynamic property, the form is now rendered correctly.
Creating new and editing service checklists works again.
When service events are exported, the link to the service is now included in the export.
It is possible again to edit an active environment.
The multi run step filtering works again.
Measurement results in a run are now per logging parameter, allowing better tracking of measurement results.
