Substrates
Substrates are individually traceable source materials used in runs. A substrate has a type, number or label, configurable properties, stock movements, files, location, and links to the runs in which it is used.
Create a substrate directly or import a workbook generated from the current type and property configuration. Open the record to review general information, stock, runs, and files. Stock changes are recorded as input/output entries rather than overwriting an unexplained total.
Projects can require substrates and define how substrates map to experimental parts. During run creation, select the source substrates and verify the experimental split matrix. A consumable type may also be allowed to act as source material, but consumable stock remains batch/quantity oriented rather than individually traceable.
