Substrate types

A substrate type supplies the numbering and property schema for a class of substrates. Create property definitions first, then select them on the type. The type becomes available in single-record creation, imports, filters, and run source selection.

Avoid changing a type's meaning after substrates have been used. Add a new type for a materially different substrate so historical filters and exports remain unambiguous.
