Approve a run

When a prepared run requires approval, selecting Start sends it to Waiting for approval. The approval page lists the users who can approve and those who receive status updates.

Review the organisation context, source material, parts, step sequence, recipe versions, requirements, and safety or hold information. Add a clear message, then approve to start the run or decline to return it for correction. The user who requested the start and configured recipients receive the decision, and the changelog retains it.

Approval behaviour is an environment option; some installations start runs immediately.
