Run steps
Steps are the executable sequence of a run. A step may be based on a process or recipe, copied from a template or run, or represent a requirement or measurement.
Build the sequence
While the run is under construction, insert a process, recipe, run, template, requirement, or measurement. Steps can be reordered, duplicated, edited, replaced, updated to a newer recipe version, or removed when permissions and state allow.
Each step can contain an operation number, display name, instructions, scheduled time, responsible user, part selection, parameter values, checklists, files, remarks, requirements, measurements, tags, and private/emphasised display settings. A step copied from a standard source retains version information so SoloDB can flag it as outdated.
Execute steps
Open the operator or step view, confirm the selected parts and equipment, then start and finish the step. Part state can move through idle, started, finished, failed, repairing, or testing, with rework actions where configured. Complete checklists, parameter values, measurements, and requirement results before finishing.
Use filters and the multi-step editor for controlled bulk changes; review the affected part selection before saving.
