SoloDB Documentation Version 1.0 Help

Issues, ECNs, maintenance, and activity

Issues

An issue records a fault or concern on a module. It includes owner, status, type, title, description, actions, optional forecast-up time, attachments, and audit fields. Types distinguish normal, priority, and escalation issues. Close an issue when resolved; do not delete it to hide history.

Engineering change notices

An ECN communicates a temporary change to normal operation. It has an owner, title, description, attachments, and closed date. Active ECNs are prominently shown on equipment and operator views and can also appear in statusmail.

Preventive maintenance

A preventive-maintenance schedule defines title, description, frequency, planning lead time, duration, start hour, whether equipment is placed in maintenance, who executes the work, pre-actions, actions, and files. Generated maintenance records are Planned or Executed and record scheduled/executed dates, executor, comments, actions, files, and any linked technical reservation.

External activity and services

External activity records an account, configured activity type, activity text, comment, user, and timestamp against a module. Use it for work performed in another system while retaining the SoloDB equipment history. Use the Service tab for structured service definitions, events, checklists, documents, and reports.
