Equipment property administration

Equipment properties are dynamic definitions that can be supplied by category types, rooms, zone groups, modules, and module functions.

For each property, configure the label, help text, type, default value, order, whether it appears in lists, and whether it is groupable or connecting. Supported types are text, radio, select, date, checkbox, integer number, decimal/float, and minimum/maximum.

Radio, select, and checkbox choices use a pipe-separated definition. A stable internal code may be followed by a label:

Do not change an internal code after values have been stored. Labels may be clarified, but a new meaning requires a new code or property. Use number for integers and float for decimal values. Add a unit to the label or associated definition where the value would otherwise be ambiguous.
