Release notes SoloDB 5.11.0

SoloDB 5.11.0 has been released on 13 April 2025, in this version the following fixes and improvements have been made:

• [LANG] Renamed chemical container to chemical material according to CLM nomenclature

• [LANG] Renamed facility to utility to avoid confusion with the equipment facilities (e.g. gas, water, exhaust)

• [UI] Cleaned up main navigation for more clarity and moved config option to dedicated config page. A detailed overview of all changes in the navigation can be found on this page

• [FIX] Support for chemical scan for sites which have no external labelling

• [UI] Changed preference of receiving training emails and reservation emails to toggle button

• [UI] Cleaned up the footer and added a link to the documentation

• [FEAT] It is now possible to select the preferred environment via the profile page

• [FEAT] Created new feature 'Service' allowing to handle internal and external service requests on equipment

• [CORE] Upgraded to PHP 8.4.6

• [CORE] Upgraded to Boostrap 5.3.5

• [WIP] Migrated the documentation to a new system, and restructured the documentation to make it more user friendly. More work is needed to finish the migration and to add more content to the documentation. The new documentation can be found here
