Statusmail
The statusmail is a powerful tool that provides a detailed overview of the current status of all equipment in the lab. It allows lab managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to monitor equipment status, issues, and engineering change notices (ECNs) in a structured and organized way.

Equipment Status Monitoring: View the operational status of all equipment in the lab
Issue Tracking: Monitor and manage issues related to equipment
ECN Management: Track Engineering Change Notices for equipment
Customizable Views: Configure how equipment is grouped and displayed
Email Notifications: Send status reports to stakeholders via email
Creating and Configuring a Statusmail
General Settings
When creating or editing a statusmail, you can configure the following general settings:
Name: A descriptive name for the statusmail
Show in Navigation: Whether to show this statusmail in the navigation menu
Sequence: The order in which this statusmail appears in lists
Show Tool Up: Whether to show equipment that is operational
Show Issues: How to display issues (hide, show, or collapse)
Show Issues with Priority: Whether to highlight issues based on priority
Show Reservations: Whether to display equipment reservations
Classification Options
You can group equipment in the statusmail using one of the following classification options:
By Area: Group equipment by area
By Area per Facility: Group equipment by area within each facility
By Room: Group equipment by room
No Grouping: Display equipment without grouping
Ordering Options
You can order equipment in the statusmail using one of the following options:
By Name: Order equipment alphabetically by name
By MES Name: Order equipment by MES name
By Number: Order equipment by equipment number
Email Configuration
Statusmail can be configured to send email reports to stakeholders:
Subject: The subject line for the email
To: Primary recipients of the email
CC: Carbon copy recipients
BCC: Blind carbon copy recipients
Using the Statusmail Interface
Viewing Equipment Status
The statusmail interface displays equipment grouped according to your selected classification option (area, room, etc.). For each equipment, you can see:
Equipment number and name
Main tool status
Other modules and their status
Associated issues and ECNs
Equipment is displayed in cards, with the main tool on the left (or full width if there are no other modules) and other modules on the right.
Working with Issues
Issues represent problems or concerns related to equipment. In the statusmail interface, you can:
View existing issues for each equipment and module
Create new issues by clicking the "New Issue" button in the equipment card
Edit or update existing issues
Attach files to issues for additional documentation
Issues can be displayed in different ways based on your configuration:
Show all issues
Hide issues
Show issues in a collapsed state (expandable)
Working with ECNs
Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) document changes or modifications to equipment. In the statusmail interface, you can:
View existing ECNs for each equipment and module
Create new ECNs by clicking the "New ECN" button in the equipment card
Edit or update existing ECNs
Attach files to ECNs for additional documentation
Working with Messages
Messages provide general information that applies to multiple equipment or the entire lab. In the statusmail interface, you can:
View existing messages at the top of the statusmail
Create new messages by clicking the "New message" button
Edit or update existing messages
Filtering Equipment
You can filter which equipment appears in the statusmail by:
Navigating to the statusmail view
Clicking the "Set Equipment Filter" button
Selecting the desired filter criteria
Saving your filter settings
This allows you to create focused statusmails for specific areas, equipment types, or other criteria.
Displaying and Sharing Statusmail
To view the statusmail in a format suitable for sharing or printing:
Navigate to the statusmail view
Click the "Display" button
This will show the statusmail in a clean format that can be printed or shared with others.
You can also configure the statusmail to be sent automatically via email to the specified recipients.
