Consumption types

Given the fact that consumables can have different origins and can be any kind of resource SoloDB offers different consumption types of consumables. The following 4 consumption type are supported:

  • Amount
  • Percentage
  • Volume
  • Weight

When a consumable is used in a run the consumption has to be logged and SoloDB will keep track of the current stock. In case of “Percentage” SoloDB will log 100 - (total consumption) and for the others SoloDB will log “Amount in - Amount out”. It is possible to add extra consumption in case a new batch is delivered or when a recount is done. Note that adding extra consumption is not possible for consumables with type “ Percentage”
