Equipment properties

Properties extend equipment and modules without adding fixed database fields for every local requirement. The available fields are collected from assigned equipment types, room or zone-group configuration, and module properties.

Open an equipment record and select Set properties. Complete only values that describe the item, not temporary operating results. Groupable properties can be reused when equipment is combined in a setup.

Supported definitions include text, number, date, checkbox, radio, and minimum/maximum values. Choice properties use configured internal values and user-facing labels; units and help text are displayed with the field. Property administration is described in Admin equipment configuration.
