In SoloDB different options are possible for training and reservations. Per equipment these can be changed via Equipment > Edit equipment. Below an overview of the different options is given:

Training possible

The “Training possible” option can be set to “Training is possible” or “Training is not possible”. When the option is set to “Training is not possible” and reservations should be possible the option for “Reservations possible” should be set to “Reservations are possible for all users”.

Training description

The text in the “Training description” field is shown on the equipment page when the user is not trained for the equipment and can be used to give more information about the training. The information is also shared in the emails related to the training

Reservations possible

There are 4 options for the “Reservations possible” option:

  • No reservations are possible: The equipment cannot be reserved
  • Reservations are possible for all users: All users can make a reservation for the equipment
  • Reservations are only possible for trained users: Only users which training is active for the equipment can make a reservation
  • Reservations are possible for trained users and for in training users: Users which have a training request which is active can make a reservation, but also users who are in training
