SoloDB Documentation Version 1.0 Help

SoloDB documentation

SoloDB is a laboratory information and manufacturing execution system for managing physical workspaces, equipment, experimental procedures, and traceable runs. Start with the guide that matches your role.

User guide

Use the User guide when you work in SoloDB through the web interface.

  • Rooms and locations: access, training, zones, reservations, floor plans, and room resources.

  • Equipment: configuration, responsible users, training, reservations, status, maintenance, logging, and monitored processes.

  • Runs: create and execute experimental or production work, record results, and export data.

  • Processes: reusable process definitions, recipes, parameters, and requirements.

  • Chemicals, consumables, and substrates: materials and stock used during runs.

Technical guide

Use the Technical guide to administer, integrate, deploy, or develop SoloDB. It covers the Laminas/Doctrine architecture, host-specific configuration, backend modules, permissions, mailing, reporting, OAuth, installation, and database maintenance.

API and exported data

The interactive OpenAPI interface is available at /swagger on a SoloDB installation. See OAuth access before calling protected endpoints, and consult the export data model when consuming generated data.

Releases and support

See the release notes for version-specific changes. For product support, use the SoloDB contact page.
